Admission for the Freshman Class of 2014
Open House for students interested in entering Kolbe Cathedral in the Fall of '09 will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14th, 2009.

Kolbe Cathedral is committed to enrolling a diverse group of students interested in preparing for college. Students in Seventh and Eighth grade are encouraged to attend Open House, held each October. Parents with 8th grade students interested in attending Kolbe Cathedral must submit a completed application and $50 testing fee by the day of the test. Applicants can download an application and release form or call the Admissions office. Eighth grade students must take an entrance exam, submit the most recent report card and provide at least one letter of recommendation from their current school.

Open House: Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 7:00 P.M.
Scholarship Exam: Saturday, October 17, 2009, 8:00 A.M.

A second entrance exam for eighth grade students seeking admission will be given on Saturday, March 13, 2010, 8:00 A.M.

Recommendation/Release (DOC) forms must also be completed by parents and current school officials.

Transfer Students
Kolbe Cathedral welcomes and encourages applications from transfer students. Students may submit applications with a $50 fee, the most recent report card and two letters of recommendation. Only students with a 2.0 grade point average or better, and who leave their high school in good standing will be considered. Eligible applicants will be contacted for an interview and writing sample. Students may apply for the for the Fall semester, sophomore, and junior classes during the months of June, July, and August or, for the Spring semester, freshman and sophomore classes in December and January.

Application Form
The application process begins with the completion of the application for admission form and payment of the $40 application fee. Complete the Application for Admission (DOC) and mail the application to Kolbe Cathedral High School.

Tuition
Tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year is $6,950. Tuition is paid on a 10-month schedule beginning in July. Monthly payments of $695 are due by the 15th of the month. Financial aid is available by application only to those determined to be eligible. Aid ranges form $500 to $2500. All financial aid applications must be received by March 1st to be considered for assistance in the following year. Families must apply for financial aid each year of enrollment.

Registration
Once a student has been accepted for the transfer at Kolbe Cathedral, they must register within eight days of the start of the semester by submitting a registration form along with a $150 registration fee and the first month's tuition.
