Support a Student

Scholarship Funds

Scholarships that put a Kolbe education within reach.

Kolbe Cathedral students whose education is made possible by scholarship support

A variety of scholarships — ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 — are awarded based on academic performance, financial need, or both. Awards continue yearly until a student graduates, provided the student remains in good academic standing.

The Maximilian Kolbe Scholarship is the school's largest source of need-based student financial aid. Established in 2021 by John & Cindy Sites, it awards up to twelve full tuitions each year — opening Kolbe's doors to students who could not otherwise attend.

Over the years, generous donors have also established named funds to honor people who shaped the Kolbe community.

In Loving Memory

The Leah Rondon Memorial Scholarship

Leah was a happy, vivacious six-year-old whose life was cut tragically short in a car accident on August 20, 2015. She was an avid athlete, playing soccer, basketball, and softball. She was also a strong student who loved to read and play with friends at recess. Leah's parents started 2 funds to keep her spirit alive. The Leah Rondon Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating female student at Kolbe Cathedral High School where Leah's brother Henry is a member of the faculty. The Leah Rondon Fund is housed at the Valley Community Foundation and is designed to benefit Ansonia, CT youth.
